Wingsuit accident in the mountains - level 2
A famous veteran wingsuit flyer has died at the world championships in China. The championships took place in the mountains where a famous movie was filmed.
It was very windy during the championships. Powerful gusts of wind changed the flyer's planned route and the parachute didn't open because of technical problems.
The man was an extreme-sport veteran. He parachuted more than 1,000 times and jumped with a wingsuit 700 times.
Two hundred rescuers looked for him. The man's body was found on Wednesday morning.
