Journey all around the world - level 2
A British woman is travelling around the world. The 20,000 mile trek is called "London2London" and she can use only her body power to travel.
That means she cannot catch a bus or go by car. She must walk, cycle and row. The 28 year old woman departed London on 1st April, 2011 and she has already travelled 11,000 miles.
She recently has finished a very hard part of the trek. She spent 150 days at sea when she crossed the Pacific Ocean from Japan to Alaska. This was the second and successful attempt to cross the Pacific. The first one was stopped by a tropical storm in 2012.
