A dolphin gave birth to her second calf at a theme park in California. The baby weighed 40 pounds (18kg). The newborn dolphin is the 80th successfully-born dolphin at the centre.
Trainers and vets said that the mother and her baby are in good health, and they are bonding and swimming together. The vets will continue to watch the two 24/7 for the next few weeks.
The dolphin’s first calf was born in 2009.
