This news is about Edward Snowden. He is 31 years old. He worked for the NSA. It is an American organisation. This organisation spies on people.

Edward Snowden tells the media about this. The USA is not happy about that. Mr Snowden is wanted in the USA. He leaves there. He goes to Hong Kong and then to Russia.

The man is a hero to some people. These people don’t want to be watched. There is a comic book about his life. A movie about him is being made, too.

Difficult words: spy (to watch without somebody knowing), media (people who work in television, radio, newspapers), be wanted (when the police or government want to catch and punish a person).
