New Horizons became the first spacecraft to visit Pluto and its entourage of moons. It took dramatic pictures which provided new high definition data of Pluto.
The amazing images show a near-sunset view of the icy mountains on the distant planet. The spacecraft captured the photographs from a distance of 17,703 kilometers.
