The Pink, Kind, Caring Ladybug
Pinkles the ladybug was different from all of her ladybug friends. They were colored with a bright,
shining red with black polka dots on their body. Pinkles was a deep, dark pretty pink with polished,
gleaming and glossy black spots fancily placed all over her.
That is how she became known as “Pinkles” the pink pretty ladybug.
She decided because she was not the same as the others to form a ladybug group for very young
ladybugs named, “The Pink Think Training Group.” There were twelve young ladybugs eager to learn.
Their names were Palky, Keeleaf, Elvy, Polkara, Dakadot, Dassy, Beeta, Salette, Grassa, Alette
Kappy and lastly Saveluk.
She would teach the very young ladybugs many special and unique things.
First would be to open up their wings, cautiously, delicately in a ladylike fashion.
When it was time for them to spread their wings and fly she would say to each one, relax. Take that
magical flying moment now! Pinkles would guide them and stay by their side on the first trip.
They would talk when they returned from their flying excursions about everything they saw.
Palky spoke politely to Pinkles, “Miss Pinkles I was so very thrilled and looked forward to lying in the
soft, green grass as I flew downwards gently and slowly with my wings extended outwards.”
“I ladybug liked it limitlessly.”
Next to speak was Keeleaf. “Oh, Miss Pinkles when I was flying over the waters of the lakes
and the rivers the coolness, refreshing feeling made my ladybug senses burst with tingling bugness.” All
the ladybugs started to giggle even Pinkles.
Elvy said, “ Looking at the many buildings, cars, animals and even some people I became
somewhat bedazzled, Miss Pinkles on what to choose to land on first.”
“Believe in all your ladybug instincts,” said Pinkles. “Your training is now complete.”
“You have all made me ladybug proud!”
At the end of each day they would all meet with Pinkles to chat excitedly about their own
adventurous times. Pinkles gave opinions and told of her own experiences.
The young ladybugs learned valuable lessons.
Her new ladybug group became a huge success in training and teaching all the ladybugs
to make the most of their days.
Ladybug friendships, support, information but most of all caring, Pinkles provided to all.
By surrounding themselves within her presence they each acquired the grace of ladybug
learning, ladybug skills, lastly ladybug luck!
These three things Pinkles gave to her ladybug young ones to hold within their bug thinking always!
Today was Pinkles birthday and all the ladybugs decided to surprise her with a celebration. They had all
been waiting for her arrival tucked away in concealed corners until her grand entrance. Polkara
whispered, “Soon she will be here.” “Yes,” in just a couple of ladybug moments,” said Dakadot.
Saveluk said, “Ssh,” “ Loyal ladybugs, listen, she is approaching.”
Then they all flew in one group and landed to form a word, “Pink.” Pinkles was so very happy and
realized this was her true moment of meaning, to be able to teach young ladybugs.
She was different and used this given gift to teach all the other very young ladybugs!
