Helicopter in Seattle - level 2
A helicopter in Seattle was trying to lift off from a building’s rooftop when it crashed. Three vehicles were hit when the helicopter came down.
Two people on board of the helicopter were killed, and one motorist was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital with burns on more than 50 percent of his body.
Firefighters put out the fire and cleaned up the spilled fuel, which left a strong smell in the area. Only the tail of the helicopter could be identified. The rest of the helicopter was just burnt metal.
Difficult words: motorist (somebody who drives a car), 50 percent (half of his body), put out (stop burning), fuel (gas).
