An eight-month-old baby from Colombia weighs a whopping 44 pounds (20 kilograms).
The mother started to worry because it was difficult for her to carry the boy around. She thinks that he looks cute like this, but she knows that his health is not good. And so she thinks that he should receive help.
Doctors aim to put the boy on a strict vegetable and fruit juice diet. He will also exercise to lose some of the fat. Doctors hope to get his weight down to 17 pounds (8 kilograms) in six months to a year.
