Dubai began offering special wheelchairs. These wheelchairs let disabled people enjoy the sea or a swimming pool.
The wheelchair’s armrests function as flotation devices, and the user lays flatter and lower than normal. This position is better when the person is in the water.
Twenty of these chairs are in Dubai’s main beach parks. People can use them for free. Dubai works to be friendlier to disabled visitors.
